Our Class
This year your child will be working with both Mrs. Currey and a paraprofessional, Mr. Rushing. This allows us to have small group rotations in both Reading and Math where each child sees a teacher every day. Many students will see both teachers for both subjects each day! We will be able to adjust our instruction so that each group gets the instruction they need to be successful, while challenging the students that need enrichment.

This is my 12th year teaching fourth grade at Rhodes Elementary, and my third year co-teaching. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education. I am ESOL and ESE certified.
I have been married for 10 years and I have a 7-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter. Although they keep me busy at home, you can always reach me via Dojo message in the evenings if you have questions or concerns about your child. I will do my best to respond as quickly as possible! |
